Candlelight
As we close out our celebration of Thanksgiving and turn toward Hanukkah, Christmas, and the new year, how beautiful it is to begin with lighting candles.
Taking Pauses
For the month of January, 2022, I’m taking the group lessons off of the calendar. A pause for me to rest and reflect on what I’ve learned with y’all during the last couple of years. A pause to integrate some of that experience. And a pause that I suspect will allow me to come back with renewed insight—and perhaps improved abilities—in February.
Making Stuff
I used to have the idea that artists had a fully formed image of what they were going to create, before they grabbed the paintbrush. Now I’ve recognized that there are multiple ways to create. Make that infinite ways to create.
A Different Point of View
Every now and then, it’s fun to see how other folks live.
Learning and Re-learning
I’m not sure it’s possible to have a problem-free life, but I do love learning. The more I learn through Feldenkrais work, the more I find to be curious about, and the easier it is to learn new things.
