I’ve come to believe that making stuff by hand, being creative, is fundamental to our humanity.

I like to make stuff. Especially with fiber. It probably started when my aunt showed me how to sew. I wasn’t very good at making the tiny stitches she expected, but I never looked back. Since then, I’ve explored sewing, hand-spinning (making yarn), weaving, knitting, and felt-making, just to name a few techniques.

There’s something immensely satisfying about using our own hands to transform materials from one state to another….
