You might have guessed that I don’t like to be bored. I do like to have time to sit and wonder. To piddle around with a variety of little projects. To talk with folks. To learn new things. To watch the birds from my front porch. To watch my grandkids grow—although I must say that they grow at an alarmingly fast rate.
One of those friends, had some really great sayings. They pop into my head, often at just the right time. Maybe they’re good for you, too.
Who in your life has confidence that’s greater than your doubt? Who loves you enough to tell you when you’re holding back? Find those people and thank them. And be that kind of friend or mentor in someone else’s life.
She was fun, totally fun. Life was an adventure, a joy, something to relish with friends and loved ones. Until it wasn’t. Until it all came crashing in and it was too much.
