Monday Morning Thunder

Dear Reader,

Mondays aren’t always easy. This Monday morning, I woke up to the sound of thunder, and followed by the rhythm of heavy rain. Rain is welcome here these days; we could use some. Although, not quite as welcome given that I anticipated a lot of driving later in the day.

I brought my coffee out to the front porch, where I was greeted by half a dozen pink rain lilies. A bit bent over from the rain, they were a cheery sight nonetheless.

Not such a bad way to start a Monday morning. The rain had already mostly stopped; the coffee hit the spot; and rain lilies always make me smile.

Here’s hoping that something bright and cheery has greeted you on this Monday.

Our Tuesday online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson is still Free/Pay as You Wish. By the way, it’s gentle, easy movements. You start with lying on your back, do some simple movements and take rests along the way. Participants report that it’s relaxing, helpful, restorative.

About three times a year, I’ve been teaching felt-making workshops and Feldenkrais Mini-Retreats at the Jung Center of Houston. More details:

Felting a New Story is Friday afternoon, July 18.

Unlock Your Neck and Shoulders is Friday afternoon, July 25.

If you’d like to work with me privately, you can Book an Appointment or reply to this email and let me know what you’re most curious about.

Monday or any day, have all the fun you can!
