A Lazy Labor Day

Dear Reader,

It’s raining softly. Perfect weather for a nice nap, a lazy afternoon. So, in honor of Labor Day here in the United States, I’m leaning toward laziness. Ahh.

Tuesday’s probably going to feel like a Monday this week. Nonetheless, we’ll do our weekly Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson which is still Free/Pay as You Wish. It’s a lazy way to improve how you move your body.

If you’d like to enjoy an afternoon of in-person Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons, please join me at the Jung Center of Houston for Breathing Room: A Feldenkrais Mini-retreat on Friday, October 3. We’ll do two or three movement lessons with time between the lessons for discussion and questions and answers. It’s refreshing and restorative. Perhaps you’d like to indulge yourself.

Tiny Felt Vessels is another in-person experience at the Jung Center of Houston. On Friday afternoon, September 12, we’ll use luscious Merino wool to create at least two small containers—they could hold small treasures or big dreams. Either way it’s magical, creative fun. And, you don’t have to have any experience or talent—just a bit of curiosity.

Please register early. Jung Center programs with four or fewer participants registered 48 hours prior to their start are subject to cancellation.

However you choose to celebrate Labor Day, have all the fun you can!
