Oh Babies!

Dear Reader,

Well, Grandma Gika is pretty absorbed with twin grand babies at the moment. They’re both home and beginning to settle into a routine. Mom and Dad are rather sleep deprived, and managing amazingly well. They even still have a sense of humor!

I have some experience hanging out with newborns, and still, being with these guys is a great reminder of some of life’s basics. Newborns have a lot to do in these early days: eat, sleep, pee and poop—and grow. And occasionally look around at this whole new world.

I suppose it could sound corny or trite, but hanging out with newborns is a great way to slow down, do the basics, and pay attention to what’s important. In this case, to appreciate how precious life is. Other important things: diapers, laundry, food, sleep—and maybe a bit of humor.

For a little while, I’ll be limiting my private appointments, but we’ll continue with the weekly online class.

Here’s the basic info:

Our weekly online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson is on Tuesdays at 11:30 am (Central Time) and it’s still Free/Pay as You Wish.

For an in-person experience, I’m offering Lift Your Heart: A Feldenkrais Mini-Retreat on Saturday afternoon, February 28, at the Jung Center of Houston.

If you’d like to work with me privately, in person or online—Feldenkrais, coaching or felt-making—you can Book an Appointment or reply to this email and let me know what you’re interested in.
