Helping Out

Dear Reader,

Sitting on the front porch this morning, there was a tiny bit of fall in the air. But my thoughts kept going back to western North Carolina. I hope you’ll join me in celebrating what our hands can do—and in sending some financial support for Hurricane Helene relief.

Thursday evening, October 17, at 7:00 pm (US Central Daylight Saving Time), we’ll have a special online Helping Hands—Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson. The class will be recorded, and an audio version of the recording will be sent to all who register. To register, please make a donation to the organization of your choice, and then click on the link to enroll in the class.

As a fiber artist, I’m especially touched by these two nonprofits: Local Cloth’s Go Fund Me and CERF+, Craft Emergency Relief Fund. Here’s a list of some other organizations: Ways to donate and help flood victims in western North Carolina.

Also, for any private sessions scheduled from now through November 1, I’ll donate 10% of my fee to Hurricane Helene disaster relief.

If you’d like to join me for some Coaching, Creativity or Feldenkrais, here’s what’s coming up:

Every Tuesday, with rare exceptions, we have our online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson, and it’s still Free/Pay as You Wish.

In person at the Jung Center of Houston, another Feldenkrais Mini-Retreat: Moving From the Heart, on Saturday afternoon, November 16, 2024.

Also in person at the Jung Center of Houston, on Saturday afternoon, November 23, 2024, Creating a New Cloth: Nuno Felt Technique. This one is always fun, and sometimes surprising.

If you’d like to work with me privately, you can Book an Appointment for a Feldenkrais or Coaching session, or for a free consult. You can even set up a time for a private, or semi-private felting session. Or you can simply reply to this email and let me know what’s most interesting to you.

Have all the fun you can!
