So Many Shades of Green

Dear Reader,

You can hear the creek long before you can see it. Especially in the summer time when the lush greenery nearly submerges the rippling stream. It’s a little different every time I go to this mountain retreat, but it’s always a pleasure to hear the creek. This time, it was all about family. Watching children play, enjoying a family reunion, and remembering those who have gone before us.

Remembering those who created this cabin in the woods, and watching the little ones who might one day bring their own children. Remembering many times of sitting on the porch, eating, chatting, and watching fireflies—and, now, watching little ones catching fireflies for the first time.

In some ways, fairly ordinary experiences; in other ways, the kinds of events that enrich our lives, and give us broader perspectives. Most definitely, they’re moments of enjoyment, creating new memories for multiple generations.

For July and August, I’ll be teaching one weekly online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement class. It’s the Tuesday Free Pay As You Wish class at 11:30 am (Central Time, US and Canada.)

You can also schedule a time for a private lesson—either in person or online.

Summertime seems like the perfect time to slow down, take it easy and relax. I hope you’re finding opportunities to enjoy a slower pace, have something cool to drink and spend time with family and friends.
