Pink Flowers and Blue Sky

Dear Reader,

Have I mentioned that we’ve had a lot of rain here in this part of Texas lately? The good news is that all the plants are green and growing fast. The bad news is that some people have experienced devastating flooding.

In my little neighborhood, we’ve been lucky enough to avoid flooding. Not so lucky with the mosquito population. Dang. I went for a walk this morning and started to regret it almost immediately. Nonetheless, I made it around a sort of circuit. My reward at the end was one of my favorite trees—a mimosa. It has delicate pink flowers—and such bold color coming from those delicate petals. And blue sky above. As my mother-in-law used to say, “God and Mother Nature do good work.”

Here’s what’s on my calendar:

Tuesday online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement class and it’s Free/Pay as You Wish.

If you’d like to work with privately—for Feldenkrais or coaching—please Book an Appointment or reply to this email. I can meet in person in The Woodlands or in Houston.

We have dates for the in-person workshops at the Jung Center of Houston:

Saturday afternoon, June 22, Making Space: Felting Around a Ball.

Saturday afternoon, June 29, Finding Your Footing: A Feldenkrais Mini-Retreat

I’ll have a link on my website soon, but in the meantime, you can find more details at the Jung Center’s event listing

I hope you find plenty of beauty and blue sky as we move towards summer.
