Find delightful ways to let the light in. Physical and metaphorical ways. Enjoy the late afternoon sun dancing in the trees; light a candle—or two or three: look for beauty somewhere close by; and look for the light in someone else’s eyes. For the month of January, 2022, I’m taking the group lessons off of the calendar. A pause for me to rest and reflect on what I’ve learned with y’all during the last couple of years. A pause to integrate some of that experience. And a pause that I suspect will allow me to come back with renewed insight—and perhaps improved abilities—in February.

Every now and then, it’s fun to see how other folks live.

I’m not sure it’s possible to have a problem-free life, but I do love learning. The more I learn through Feldenkrais work, the more I find to be curious about, and the easier it is to learn new things.
