So Much to Learn

Dear Reader,
Perthaps one day I’ll think I’ve learned enough, but I don’t see that day coming any time soon. Yesterday, I participated in some online Feldenkrais classes. Not only was it nice for my body, but the classes also pointed out some new areas for exploration.
Who knew that the zyphoid process at the base of the sternum was connected to how we use our shoulders? And, don’t forget about the scalene muscles and the clavicles. I’m somewhat familiar with all of those parts, but the classes pointed toward deeper, unknown territory.
It’s fun to get a glimpse of what you didn’t know that you didn’t know. So, if you can’t find me elsewhere, I’ll have my nose in some anatomy books, or playing with some more Feldenkrais lessons, or knitting and noticing my shoulders.
Here’s what’s on the schedule for the next couple of weeks:
Our ongoing, online Tuesday Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement class is still free pay as you wish. By the way, the participants are some of the nicest people you could meet.
The following are classes presented through the Jung Center of Houston:
Unlocking the Neck and Shoulders—Feldenkrais for a Head Held High (in Person)
Unlocking the Neck and Shoulders—Feldenkrais for a Head Held High (Online)
If you’d like to work with me individually, or just ask some questions, you’re welcome to Book an Appointment or reply to this email.
Perhaps you’d like to look for what you didn’t know that you didn’t know. Have all the fun you can!
