Human heart with vessels and bronchial tree, back viewEnclosed within the rib cage, our hearts are protected by a complex structure of bone, muscle, cartilage, and other tissue. In an extreme version, protection can become locked in or locked down, immobile. From the Heart, February’s Midweek Moves, will focus on making that rib basket softer and more flexible. When the ribs are not only strong, but also resilient, the heart and lungs can expand more easily, and we can breathe. We can breathe and move with greater ease and resilience—moving from the heart.

About Midweek Moves

It’s the middle of the week. Have you slowed down? Finding it harder to get over the hump? Here’s an opportunity to slow down even more, explore easier ways to move, and find renewed energy for the balance of your week.

Please bring your curiosity and come prepared to lie on the floor. Carpet or some other padding is great.

Location

Online via Zoom

Tuition

$80 for a four-class package. Please register by February 3. Or you may register for individual classes for $25 per session.
