Dear Reader,

Babies rule. When they need attention, they get attention. So, that’s my excuse. I was paying attention to babies, And now, I’m much later than usual in sending out this newsletter. I hope you don’t mind my saying so, but it was worth it.

Even when I sit in one place until my arm goes to sleep, it’s worth it to hold a sleeping baby. They’re so beautiful and peaceful—and there are times when you know that if you move just an inch, the peace will surely be disturbed. It happens soon enough, so you don’t really want to wake a sleeping baby.

These particular babies are three months old today. It’s almost hard to remember a time when they weren’t here, and it’s equally difficult to believe that they’re already three months old.

Babies are fabulous reminders to enjoy the moments. This moment, right now. It’s a form of mindfulness.

Among other things, for me, Feldenkrais and coaching—and even felt-making—are mindfulness practices. They bring us into the moment—and we get distracted—and we come back to the moment. It’s not perfect; it’s practice. And the practice doesn’t make perfect. But it does make stuff better. Better movement; better patience, balance, grace, equanimity. Greater enjoyment of the moments.

Our weekly online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson is midday on Tuesdays, and it’s Free/Pay as You Wish.

If you’d like to work with me privately, in person or online—Feldenkrais, coaching or felt-making—you can Book an Appointment or reply to this email and let me know what you’re interested in.

My wish for you is many, many rich moments. Have all the fun you can!
