Taking It Easy

Dear Reader,

As summer approaches, it’s nice to begin imagining a vacation—a time to take it easy. Perhaps at the beach, or maybe in the mountains, somewhere different from our everyday lives. Do you breathe a little easier just thinking about that?

What if we could take it a little easier more often? Wouldn’t it be nice to find ease and grace—a little more breathing room—every day?

Perhaps we’d just turn into lazy slobs who never got anything done. Or maybe we’d get more done, find less resistance, and more energy. I’ve noticed that Feldenkrais lessons help me to move my body with greater ease, and somehow that translates into better living. Even as I encounter obstacles, I have more options for responding and moving through—or around, or under or over—life’s challenges.

It’s not always easy, and it’s certainly not always perfect, but it does seem to get better and better.

Please join me for some lessons in taking it easy. As usual, our Tuesday online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson is Free Pay as You Wish. You might also like to Book an Appointment for an individual session—a delightful way to “take it easy.”
