In origami, we fold and unfold paper, revealing new shapes with each movement. In Feldenkrais lessons, we fold and unfold joints, revealing new body shapes and movement possibilities. Our September Thursday course will focus on folding and unfolding in order to mobilize the spine. Not to crunch or stretch, but to softly explore new or forgotten ways to move the vertebrae. And magically, we begin to create easier ways to sit, stand, walk—perhaps to dance.
Please join me on the first four Thursdays in September for a Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement course called “Folding and Unfolding—Mobilizing the Spine.” It will surely make your body move more easily and lightly.
In a small-group, online setting, this four-week Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® course will offer a new perspective on “folding and unfolding.”
Classes are suitable for almost all fitness levels. Willingness to lie on the floor, and an interest in moving more easily are all you need.

$100 for the four-class series. You must register by September 1.
After September 1, you may register for individual classes for $30 per session. When registering for individual classes, you must register by 9:30 a.m. (Central Time) on the day of the class.Participants will be provided access to an audio recording of each lesson, in case they need to miss a session or would like to refresh their experience of the lesson.
