If you’re going to make it through the holidays, you’re going to have to breathe—inhale and exhale, perhaps with pauses along the way.
Especially during this season, the rhythm of our breath is a beautiful metaphor for the opening and closing through which we move—from light to dark to light, giving and receiving, going out and staying in. And it’s more than a metaphor. How we breathe affects everything we do.
In this three-session course, we’ll explore this natural and universal process. As if by magic, we find that the breath gets easier and more efficient, and so do our other ways of moving. Flexing and extending, lifting and lowering, reaching and withdrawing—it all starts to get easier and more graceful.
Classes are suitable for almost all fitness levels. Willingness to lie on the floor, and an interest in moving more easily are all you need.
