Take a Moment

Dear Reader,
It’s starting to feel a bit like fall around here. Just a bit, a tiny bit. We don’t usually get much fall color, and even that doesn’t happen until maybe November. But, the air has changed. Early in the morning it’s cooler. (Translation: It’s below 70 degrees.)
So, sitting outside feels different than just a week ago. The air is an invitation to take a moment. To simply go outside and to feel the air. Maybe even look up toward the sky, or the canopy of trees. To breathe more expansively.
We’ve all got other moments. Moments when we hear bad news, when we’re tired or discouraged, sad or lonely. Breathing into those moments is a good idea.
And it’s also a good idea to take even just a brief moment to feel the air, to look up at the trees, to breathe more expansively. Find some pleasurable moments. It will do you good and help you too.
Here are some moments on my calendar:
Our weekly, online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson is on Tuesdays, and it’s still Free/Pay as You Wish. Yep, it’s a nice way to take some moments just for you.
There’s something extra special about gathering in person to experience Feldenkrais. Please join me for Breathing Room: A Feldenkrais Mini-retreat, Friday afternoon, October 3, at the Jung Center of Houston.
And if you’d like to work with me privately, you can Book an Appointment or reply to this email and let me know what you’re most interested in.
Have all the fun you can!
