From fingertips to ribs and back again. We use our hands every single day, for tasks big and small. And sometimes they get tired, if not downright painful.
In studying the Feldenkrais Method, I keep learning about the relationship of the fingers and the ribs. There’s a lot that comes between the fingers and the ribs, and maybe that’s part of the problem we experience when we “overuse” our fingers.
In this four-session series of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons, we’ll explore what our fingers have to do with our ribs, and vice versa. And along the way, along the length of our arms, perhaps find a little less effort and a little more ease.
Classes are suitable for almost all fitness levels. Willingness to lie on the floor, and an interest in moving more easily are all you need.
