  • Relaxing the Muscles of the Neck

Relaxing the Muscles of the Neck
    Online via Zoom

Holding a lot of tension in your neck lately? Spending a bit too much time looking at screens? Is it harder than it should be to look over your shoulder or up at the sky?

This four-week series of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons explores how to better organize the muscles of the neck, creating greater ease and comfort—not to mention greater mobility.

    Awareness Through Movement® (online)
    Online via Zoom

Join me for this ongoing series of lessons from the Feldenkrais Method®. Bringing attention to your movements, you will build strength, greater range of motion and better balance. As Moshe Feldenkrais said, “Make the impossible possible, the possible easy, and the easy graceful.”

  • Fingers and Ribs

    Fingers and Ribs
    Online via Zoom

From fingertips to ribs and back again. We use our hands every single day, for tasks big and small. And sometimes they get tired, if not downright painful.

In studying the Feldenkrais Method, I keep learning about the relationship of the fingers and the ribs. There’s a lot that comes between the fingers and the ribs, and maybe that’s part of the problem we experience when we “overuse” our fingers.

  • Turning Fast and Slow: A Non-Intensive Feldenkrais Intensive

Online and in person via The Jung Center (Houston) 5200 Montrose Boulevard, Houston, TX, United States

“Turning on a dime….” Can you turn that quickly? Sometimes it feels like the world is spinning pretty darn fast, and it’s hard to keep up. Physically or metaphorically, it seems that we’re being called to turn quickly. In this workshop, participants will use slow movements to explore ways to turn in any direction with greater ease and grace. Come learn how to make your body move more easily, and how that might even make adapting to changes a little easier, too.
