Waiting For…

Dear Reader,
Sometimes I forget to stop waiting. Waiting for the other shoe to drop—where in the world did that expression come from? Waiting for something that might just “make it all better.” Sometimes I actually remember to stop waiting. To take a look around and enjoy what’s right here, right now. Perhaps even get into action, action that might make it at least a little better.
Have you noticed that time seems to go by faster and faster? My mother-in-law used to say, “I wake up on Monday morning, and when I go to bed, it’s Friday night.” As time races by, it’s probably a good idea to slow down, pay attention, and do what we can—or want to do!—right now.
You can guess what I’m going to say next. Please don’t wait too long. Join me for some Feldenkrais lessons or coaching. We’ll slow down, pay attention, and notice what we can—and want—to do.
As usual, our Tuesday online Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson is Free/Pay as You Wish.
You can sign up for a free consult or a private session: Book an Appointment or reply to this email.
This you’ll have to wait for, since I don’t know the dates yet: “Finding Your Footing—a Feldenkrais Mini-retreat” and “Felt Around a Ball,” will each be in-person workshops at the Jung Center of Houston this summer. Worth waiting for, because they’re always fun.
In the meantime, enjoy your moments—have all the fun you can.
