SUMMARY:These Feet Are Made for Walking
DESCRIPTION:The human foot is amazing. Its 26 bones allow us to not only stand and walk upright\, but also to run\, jump\, dance\, and even sit back on our heels. When we organize the feet well\, our movements are easier and more pleasurable—with less likelihood of pain and injury. In this Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement workshop\, we’ll explore simple\, easy ways to refine the alignment and function of the feet. And\, as if by magic\, all kinds of movement can become smoother\, more elegant and graceful. \nThis workshop is appropriate for most fitness levels. Curiosity and a willingness to lie on the floor are all you need. \nThis program will be offered both in-person and via livestreaming. If you register to attend online\, you will be emailed viewing instructions either the evening before or the morning of the event. Please be sure to check “spam” and “junk” folders! \nThis class will be recorded. Recordings will be distributed to registered participants ONLY\, after each class session.
