SUMMARY:Introduction to the Magic of Felt Making (In-Person)
DESCRIPTION:Create a handful of felt objects\, made from superfine Merino wool fibers\, a little soap and water and your own hands! Join Gika Rector for this fun exploration into the magic of handmade felt. Objects will include a small felt ball\, felt cording\, and a coaster\, so there’s an opportunity to play with 2 and 3 dimensional felt making. No previous experience or talent required. All you need is willingness to get your hands wet\, and to play! \nThis program is being offered IN-PERSON only. Masks are optional while in the building\, but encouraged (especially for students who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19). Students are required to complete and sign a liability waiver form in order to participate\, which will be distributed via email prior to the program\, and available in paper upon arrival at the center. \nAll times are CT.
